Retreat/Conversation?

When would be a good day to have a retreat? I'm thinking Saturday October 11th 9am-2pm.
Any thoughts?

that is a date that would work for me. before we set it for sure though, let's find a date that works for linda, barb, and tommy if they are interested in being there.

it also might be a good idea to set up quarterly retreats....way in advance if that might help.

May not work for me, but I'm a little out of the loop right now. Priority, I'm sorry to say, is getting my job transferred to Indy. I would like to have higher priorities than that, but I'm afraid that obstacle is going to have to be jumped before I can be as committed as I would like to be. I'll keep checking in from time to time.
Last Sunday, back problems. Couldn't make it to church.

Response to Mike's comment (but for all):
Sorry I've been so quiet on the blog lately. Two jobs in the hopper right now. Keep praying.
Bad back problems the last two weeks. Missed a few days of work. On the road again this week.

I'm a little out of touch with some of this dialogue, but I still enjoy trying to make sense out of what I can. I'm sure some of it flows from other live conversations.

Another prayer item:
We want to be where God wants us to be. We are very supportive of the ongoing diverse ministry that Lockerbie Central is doing. At the same time, with my travel and Becky's health limitations, we are having a hard time being meaningfully involved at Lockerbie Central. So, we are (again) considering looking at churches on the eastside. It may enable us to participate better with whatever becomes "our" church home, if it is in home neighborhood.
